Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide boiler safety testing and inspection services at the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center in Muskogee, OK. The contractor will be required to perform semi-annual inspections and testing of three high-pressure steam boilers and two feedwater deaerator tanks. The contractor must have experience with boiler plant safety device testing and combustion analysis, and must be able to provide certified inspectors. The contract will have a base period with four optional years.
* Key responsibilities include:
* Performing combustion analysis and tuning, safety device testing, and boiler inspections
* Providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the work
* Coordinating with the VA Contracting Officer Representative to schedule inspections
* Preparing boilers for inspection and testing
* Testing and adjusting burner and instrument controls
* Providing recommendations for repairs and modifications
* Maintaining accurate records of inspections and testing
