Description
The State of South Carolina, Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking bids for the replacement of an HVAC system at their location in Ladson, SC. The scope of work includes removing the existing equipment, recovering refrigerant, and installing a new 7.5-ton gas split system. The work must be performed during normal business hours, and all safety standards must be in place to provide necessary protection. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary licenses and permits.
• The contractor must provide labor and materials for the replacement of the HVAC system.
• The contractor must recover any existing refrigerant and dispose of the old equipment.
• The contractor must provide a crane to remove and set the new condenser.
• The contractor must make necessary supply and return transitions to ductwork, seal and insulate.
• The contractor must solder in line sets, pressure test solder joints, pull vacuum, and release factory charge.
