Description
The City of Huntsville is seeking a vendor to provide annual fire extinguisher, sprinkler, security, and fire alarm inspections, monitoring, and repair services. The contract will be for a period of 14 months, with four one-year renewal options. The vendor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, labor, and materials to complete the work. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or defects.
• The vendor must provide NFPA and State Fire Marshall's insurance certifications prior to award.
• The vendor must provide both inspection and repair services, with all repair parts being new and unused.
• The vendor must coordinate with the City's Risk Manager for all inspections prior to beginning.
• The vendor must notify the City's Risk Manager of all failed inspections and the cost for necessary repairs prior to making the repairs.
• The vendor must perform annual inspections at a date and time consistent with pre-established preventive maintenance schedules established by the City of Huntsville.
