Metro Alerts SMS/MMS Aggregator

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking a message aggregator to provide services for Short Message Service / Multimedia Messaging Service (SMS/MMS) for US carriers utilizing its Short Code and 10-Digit Long Code (10DLC). The aggregator must be a vetted service provider, have agreements with all US mobile carriers to exchange two-way message traffic between customer mobile devices and a WMATA endpoint (URL) to enable MYMTPD Text Tips capability, Metro Alerts, and other application functionality. • The contract is expected to last for 12 months. • The estimated quantities are: 6,000 US Long Code (10DLC) 2-Way per month, 6,000 US Short Code 2-Way per month, and 6,000 MMS Incoming per month. • A one-time migration campaign fee and a one-time migration short code migration fee are also included in the contract.
