Description
The U.S. Embassy in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain is seeking a contractor to provide venue and catering services for its National Day Celebration in 2026. The contractor will be responsible for providing a venue that can accommodate 800 guests, as well as catering services that include finger-sized hors d'oeuvres, one bite-sized dessert pieces, and a large cake. The contractor will also be required to provide serving material and equipment, decorate the tables and stage, and provide staff to serve alcohol. The contractor must ensure that all food is prepared and ready to serve in advance of the event, and that all staff are trained and professional.
• The contractor must provide a private room or majlis next to the venue for Executive VIP use.
• The contractor must provide a variety of beverages, including water, juice, and carbonated drinks.
• The contractor must provide serving material and equipment, including warmers, chargers, large platters, toothpicks, napkins, wine glasses, water glasses, plates, bowls, and serving utensils.
• The contractor must decorate the tables and stage with decorations approved by the Contracting Officer.
• The contractor must provide space and facilities as necessary for security screening, including accommodating the presence of several metal detectors, bag screening, armed personnel, and canine support units.
