Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex Hazelton, is seeking a vendor to provide quarterly bread supplies. The contract type is a firm-fixed price, and the government reserves the right to make single, multiple awards, or no awards. The solicitation is unrestricted, FOB Destination, with delivery dates from April 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Complex Hazelton-Food Service Warehouse. The government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered most advantageous to the government, with past performance and price considered.
• The contract requires the vendor to deliver palletized goods, unless prior arrangements are made with the warehouse staff.
• Non-frozen, perishable foods must be delivered between 34 degrees F and 40 degrees F.
• Canned goods must be delivered above 34 degrees F and not frozen.
• Frozen foods must be delivered at 0 degrees F or below.
• Certified religious diet items must be marked with the Kosher Symbol on individual packages.
• All items must strictly comply with the BOP National Menu Specifications.
