Employee Assistance Program for the City of Troy Employees

The City of Troy, NY is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide employee assistance services for City of Troy employees. The services should include 24/7 confidential assistance for approximately 550 employees and their immediate family members, covering areas such as family problems, physical and emotional abuse, alcohol and substance abuse, and more. The selected firm will be expected to provide all necessary professional services, materials, equipment, and personnel required to complete the project. The contract term will begin January 1, 2026, and remain in place through December 31, 2029, with an option for a two-year extension. Key services to be provided include: • Confidential counseling services • Training for supervisors • Counseling and contact information on various subjects such as alcohol and substance abuse, domestic violence, and mental health services • Quarterly reports to the City of Troy outlining employee usage while protecting employee confidentiality • An internet site for employees and supervisors with training, counseling information, and an on-line library with articles and resources
