Description
The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a golf professional services provider for the Osprey Point Golf Course. The selected respondent will provide golf professional services, golf instruction programs, and golf shop merchandise. The contract will be for a two-year period with three one-year renewal options. The respondent will be responsible for developing and operating a comprehensive and affordable learn-to-golf program, including junior and adult golf programs.
• The golf course is a 27-hole facility located in South County Regional Park.
• The facility has a large double-ended driving range and extensive practice facilities.
• The golf course is open 365 days a year from approximately dawn to dusk.
• The respondent will receive all revenue from the sale of merchandise in the golf shop and instructional programming at the facility.
• The respondent will be required to execute a contract similar to the attached Sample Standard Contract.
• The respondent will be required to provide evidence of minimum insurance coverage.
• The respondent will be required to maintain a drug-free workplace program.
