MGA Charter Bus Services

Middle Georgia State University is seeking up to two qualified charter‑bus providers to support its athletic program, with the possibility of extending service to other university departments. The contract is a one‑year award (July 1 2026 – June 30 2027) with up to four one‑year renewal options. Providers must supply buses (model 2016 or newer) that seat up to 57 passengers, meet federal and state safety standards, and include required amenities (e.g., restrooms on 50+‑passenger buses, first‑aid kits, fire extinguishers). Drivers must be certified, background‑checked, and available 24/7 via dispatch; subcontracting is prohibited. The State requires comprehensive insurance, proof of licensing, three recent references, and compliance with numerous safety, labor, and reporting requirements.
