security System Technician

The U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) is seeking a contractor to provide maintenance and support services for its security system infrastructure, including closed-circuit television (CCTV), access control, and alarm systems. The contractor will be responsible for providing certified security system technicians to perform maintenance and upkeep of the security system infrastructure, as well as providing after-hours support for emergency service requests. The contract will be for a period of one year with three option years. The contractor will be required to provide a quality control plan and to comply with various regulations and manuals, including the Army Physical Security Program and the Life Safety Code. • The contractor shall provide one full-time onsite technician and one part-time technician to perform maintenance and upkeep of the security system infrastructure. • The contractor shall provide after-hours support for emergency service requests with a response time of two hours. • The contractor shall maintain a physical security checklist/log and submit it to the COR on a monthly basis. • The contractor shall comply with all local policies and procedures concerning fire, safety, environmental protection, sanitation, security, and possession of firearms or other lethal or illegal weapons or substance.
