Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is conducting market research to determine if there are any vendors that can provide Home Oxygen Services and Ventilation to Veteran Beneficiaries serviced by VA Central California Healthcare System (VACCHCS). The services include setup, installation, and management of home oxygen equipment, as well as associated program management, human engineering, and logistic support planning. The contractor will be responsible for providing equipment, supplies, and services to patients, including initial setup, home visits, and emergency maintenance. The contractor must meet or exceed The Joint Commission (TJC) or equivalent standards for all services provided.

* The VA serves an estimated 397,300 covered Veterans with an average growth rate of 2.7%
* The contract will be for the actual requirements of the VA as ordered during the life of the contract
* The contractor must have a staffed branch office or available resources located within 50 miles of each medical center
* The contractor must provide initial setup within 24 hours when a prescription is received after 3:00 PM Central Standard Time
* The contractor must provide emergency maintenance 24 hours/7 days a week, including weekends and holidays
