Description
The U.S. Embassy Jakarta is seeking a contractor to provide dedicated internet bandwidth services. The contract will be for a one-year period with four one-year option periods. The contractor shall provide dedicated symmetrical internet bandwidth delivered via fiber connection to the Government demarcation point at the U.S. Embassy Jakarta. The bandwidth shall be provided and priced in increments of 10 Mbps, with a minimum of 50 Mbps and a maximum of 1,000 Mbps. The contractor shall also provide optional redundant internet bandwidth circuits for agencies requiring secondary connectivity.
Some key requirements include:
• High-quality performance with a packet loss of less than 0.5% and availability of 99.9% per month
• Bandwidth monitoring connection with software access for 24/7/365 visibility into the meshed network
• Compliance with the International Telegraph and Telephone Consultative Committee (CCITT) specifications
• Provision of a Data Service Unit(s) (DSUs) configured with a Data Communications Equipment (DCE) interface
• Signal element timing provided by the Contractor’s facility
The contractor shall also provide technical support to ensure uninterrupted end-to-end service and shall be responsible for the technical sufficiency of the circuit.
