AAA In-Home Support Services FY2026

The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) is seeking qualified contractors to provide personal assistance, caregiver respite care, and participant assessment services for older persons living in the Texas Gulf Coast area. The services will be provided under the authority of Title III B and Title III E of the Older Americans Act. The contractor will be required to have experience in providing direct consumer services and participant assessments, and must maintain at least three months' operating revenue and insurance that protects the health and safety of clients and employees. The contractor will be paid based on a unit rate reimbursement system, and the award of any contractor agreement is contingent upon H-GAC receiving adequate Title III funds. • Personal Assistance: providing hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, for a minimum of three months. • Caregiver Respite Care: providing short-term relief to primary family caregivers of impaired elderly family members, including sitting, meal preparation, and housekeeping. • Participant Assessment: conducting thorough assessments of consumers in their homes to determine their needs and available support for nutrition, caregiver support, and in-home services.
