Contract for HVAC Maintenance for the Water Treatment Plant

The City of Ames is soliciting proposals from HVAC Preventative Maintenance Contractors to perform routine, periodic preventative maintenance on the HVAC system located at the Ames Water Treatment Plant. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance and payment bond for the amount of the bid if the accepted bid is over $25,000. The City of Ames reserves the right to reject any or all bids and make awards as it deems to be in the best interest of the City. Key aspects of the job include: • Routine, periodic preventative maintenance on the HVAC system • Maintenance of the work in good repair for a period of one year from and after completion and acceptance by the City • Compliance with Affirmative Action requirements if the accepted bid is over $25,000 • Provision of a performance and payment bond for the amount of the bid if the accepted bid is over $25,000
