University Beverage Partnership

The University Beverage Partnership RFP seeks an exclusive, long‑term partner to provide beverage products, vending and fountain equipment, and sponsorship/marketing services across Virginia Tech’s campuses and athletic venues. The contractor will supply a full portfolio of carbonated, non‑carbonated, specialty, and emerging beverages, install and maintain dispensing equipment, and develop a financially supportive marketing program that includes revenue‑sharing, branding, and community‑engagement initiatives. The award will be a 10‑year contract beginning June 1 2027, with expectations for cost‑controlled pricing, compliance with Virginia conflict‑of‑interest statutes, and SWaM participation. • Provide all cold‑beverage products (sodas, water, energy drinks, specialty drinks) for dining halls, vending locations, and sports venues. • Furnish, install, and maintain fountain machines, coolers, vending hardware, and related technology. • Deliver a comprehensive sponsorship, marketing, and operations plan, including revenue‑share, product donations, branding, and athletics‑support activities. • Meet insurance, background‑check, and SWaM certification requirements; comply with Virginia procurement regulations.
