Dietician for the Office of the Aging

The County of Ontario is seeking a Registered Dietician (RD) or Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RDN) to provide professional nutrition services for the Office of the Aging. The selected candidate will work on a part-time basis, providing services for 16 hours per week. The RD/RDN will be responsible for offering nutritional counseling, developing meal plans, conducting educational workshops, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or community setting, preferably working with older adults, and strong knowledge of nutritional needs and dietary guidelines for older adults. • Must be a Registered Dietician (RD) or Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RDN) with current registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) • Must hold a current license to practice as a dietician/nutritionist in the State of New York • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or community setting, preferably working with older adults • Strong knowledge of nutritional needs and dietary guidelines for older adults • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
