Description
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is seeking bids for an all-inclusive guided tour service to San Antonio, Austin, and Houston, Texas, for 80 high school students and 8 adult chaperones. The 5-day, 4-night trip is scheduled for June 1-5, 2026. The successful bidder will provide round-trip travel packages, including meals, entrance fees, lodging, and ground transportation. A professional tour guide/trip leader is also required. Key considerations include:
• Providing 40 double-occupancy rooms and 8 single rooms with full complimentary breakfast
• Ensuring vehicles have working air conditioning, lavatory, Wi-Fi, and power/USB outlets
• Including all meals, whether on the road or at events, in the travel package
• Complying with University policies, security measures, and vehicle regulations
The University reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract based on the best interest of the University.
