Athletic Training Services for Tucson Fire and Tucson Police

The City of Tucson is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced vendors to provide comprehensive athletic training services for the Tucson Fire Department and the Tucson Police Department. The services include injury prevention, fitness evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-duty support. The contractor will be responsible for providing on-site athletic training services, including injury evaluation and treatment, rehabilitation, and fitness conditioning programs. The contractor must have a minimum of three years of professional experience working with public safety or comparable populations and must possess strong knowledge of injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation. • The contractor will provide athletic training services on an as-needed basis. • The contractor will develop and implement injury prevention programs tailored to the specific physical needs and demands of the Tucson Fire Department and the Tucson Police Department. • The contractor will provide education and training on proper techniques for exercise and other job-related physical activities. • The contractor will conduct workshops, briefings, seminars, or educational sessions on health, wellness, nutrition, fitness, and injury prevention and identification topics. • The contractor will collaborate with the City of Tucson's Risk Management, Occupational Health, and other departments to ensure alignment with occupational health standards and facilitate employee medical evaluations as required.
