Shelby County Board of Education (SCBE) is seeking a qualified moving company to handle the removal, transport, and disposal of surplus and obsolete items—including technology, furniture, equipment, and textbooks—from all Shelby County Schools locations each summer. The contractor must field three 26‑ft lift‑gate trucks staffed with three movers each (nine personnel total) for a 7‑hour workday, Monday‑Friday, between June 1 and August 1. Services include verification of items on site, loading, transport to designated warehouses or landfills, supervision, training, quality‑control, and compliance with OSHA, AHERA, and local regulations.
