The City of Palmdale is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide on‑demand plan‑check, community‑development technician, building‑inspection, and senior building‑official services for a three‑year term with two optional one‑year extensions. The contractor will review construction drawings for code compliance, issue correction letters, perform on‑site inspections, calculate and issue permit fees, and supply senior‑level oversight of the Building & Safety Division. Services are “as‑needed” with no guaranteed minimum workload; billing is monthly based on actual work performed.
