AIRPORT MARKETING SERVICES FOR CHICO REGIONAL AIRPORT

The City of Chico is seeking a qualified firm to provide full-service professional marketing services for airport development projects for Chico Regional Airport. The selected firm will be responsible for promoting public awareness and attracting air service. The contract will be for a term of five years. The selected vendor, Blue Flamingo, was chosen based on their proposal, which included detailed information about their qualifications, experience, and plan for marketing the airport. Some key aspects of the contract include: • The City of Chico recently applied for a Small Community Air Service Development Program (SCASD) grant and was selected for the grant from the Department of Transportation. • The development of some projects may involve activities or studies outside the scope of the basic marketing services performed and may vary greatly in scope and complexity. • The City staff will present an Agreement to the top-ranked Consultant for services, and should contract execution fail with the top-ranked firm, the City will enter discussions with the second-ranked firm, and so on, until an acceptable agreement has been reached between the City and the selected Consultant.
