The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking a contractor to provide whole genome sequencing services for 250 sickle cell disease patient samples. The contractor will be required to perform high-quality whole genome sequencing with a minimum average depth of 60X coverage using high-quality, standardized library preparation and sequencing protocols. The resulting data will be integrated with existing genomic and clinical datasets to support identification of novel genetic variants and enhance ongoing machine learning-based risk prediction models. The contractor must have experience with large-scale sequencing, automation, and bioinformatics support.
• The contractor will provide whole genome sequencing services for 250 human samples
• The sequencing must be performed at a minimum average depth of 60X coverage per sample
• The contractor must use standardized protocols consistent with prior sequencing batches from this project
• The contractor must provide comprehensive QC metrics per sample and batch
• The contractor must deliver the sequencing data and associated outputs via secure electronic transfer
