Description
The Northern Essex Community College (NECC) is seeking a qualified audio‑visual contractor to furnish, install, and commission new AV systems in ten classrooms and one conference room across two campus buildings (General Services Center – Building B and Science Building – Building E). The scope includes new LCD displays, projectors, screens, speakers, control systems, cabling, and video‑conference equipment, with all work to be completed within a 45‑day construction window after notice to proceed. The contract value is estimated at $140,000 and falls under Massachusetts MGL c.149 procurement rules, requiring a 5 % bid deposit and compliance with workforce‑participation benchmarks.
