The City of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department is seeking a qualified agency to both solicit and manage sponsorships for its extensive portfolio of parks, facilities, programs, and events. The vendor will be responsible for identifying potential sponsors (local, regional, national), creating customized sponsorship packages, securing commitments, and then administering the agreements to ensure all promised benefits are delivered and reported. This work includes sales outreach, contract administration, coordination with department staff, and regular performance reporting. • Develop and execute a city‑wide sponsorship solicitation strategy covering over 30 distinct sponsor benefit categories. • Manage all aspects of sponsorship fulfillment, from contract execution to on‑site branding, program integration, and post‑event reporting. • Provide a detailed financial proposal (fees, retainer, commission) and a timeline that aligns with the department’s programming calendar. • Must comply with city policies prohibiting political, tobacco, vaping, and adult‑content sponsorships and adhere to a $5,000+ approval threshold for major titles.
