BUILDING INSPECTION, ASSESSMENT & OFFICE LAYOUT DRAWINGS

The Walton County Central Purchasing Department is seeking quotes from qualified firms to perform a building inspection and condition assessment of the Central Purchasing facility, as well as prepare simplified drawings of a proposed new office layout. The scope of work includes conducting a visual, non-destructive inspection of the facility, evaluating the general condition of the building and major building components, and preparing a written report documenting observed conditions. The contractor will also prepare a simplified as-built floor plan drawing of the facility and a proposed office layout drawing. • The inspection will include structural elements, roof system and drainage, exterior walls and building envelope, interior walls, ceilings, and flooring, HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, doors and windows, and evidence of water intrusion, moisture damage, or structural distress. • The written report will include a summary of overall building condition, identified deficiencies, photographic documentation, professional recommendations, and rough order-of-magnitude repair/renovation considerations. • The proposed office layout drawing will show proposed room layout, approximate room dimensions, key program elements, and notation of any walls identified as potentially load-bearing.
