Description
The Kentucky Department of Education is seeking a qualified professional organization to assist with the oversight of the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) to ensure State Agency compliance. The selected vendor will be responsible for conducting programmatic reviews, providing technical assistance and training to program sponsors, and maintaining workflow processes. The contract is expected to be for a period of 24 months, with the possibility of renewal for up to two additional 24-month periods. The vendor will be required to have experience with the SFSP, knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations, and the ability to communicate effectively with program sponsors.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Conducting programmatic reviews of SFSP sponsors and sites
• Providing technical assistance and training to program sponsors
• Maintaining workflow processes and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
• Communicating effectively with program sponsors and other stakeholders
• Ensuring the quality and accuracy of work products and submissions
• Participating in meetings and site visits as required
The ideal vendor will have experience working with the SFSP, a strong understanding of federal and state laws and regulations, and excellent communication and project management skills.
