Description
The California Department of Transportation is seeking Edge Video Compression devices for installation at CCTV locations along the game route network for the 2028 Summer Olympic Games. These devices are essential for improving traffic management and public safety by enabling the efficient streaming of high-bandwidth video from CCTV cameras, reducing data transmission costs, and ensuring reliable operation. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder meeting the requirements outlined in the RFQ.
• The devices must be compatible with the existing CCTV system and meet the specified technical requirements.
• The contractor must provide all necessary documentation, including a commercially useful function certification and a bidder declaration form.
• The contract will include a 60-day quote expiration date and a delivery date of ASAP after receipt of order.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies, including those related to data security and privacy.
• The contractor must provide training to Caltrans personnel on the use and operation of the devices.
• The contractor must provide maintenance and support services for the devices, including preventive and remedial maintenance, updates, and upgrades.
