Concessionaire Services - Aquatic Center

The City of Modesto is seeking proposals for a Contractor to provide independent concession services at the newly constructed Aquatic Center located in Chavez Park. The Aquatic Center is slated to open in May 2026 and will operate seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The facility will feature a water tower with 5 slides, a 4-lane pool, and party rooms. Desirable proposals will offer extended operational hours and a low-cost, family-friendly menu that includes healthy options. Vendors are expected to operate during the facility’s full hours and serve children and families visiting for recreational use. * The Concession Stand will have several appliances installed, including 2 reach-in refrigerators, soft serve freezer, countertop heated display case, beverage dispenser, coffee machine, bullet oven, and conveyer oven. * The selected Contractor shall operate independently within the Center and will be required to furnish goods and services, including transportation, services/labor, equipment, and materials necessary to operate its concession services. * The Contractor shall maintain a list of all cleaning products used as well as a safety data sheet (SDS) for each product. * The City prefers environmentally friendly or certified green products be used whenever possible. * The facility attendance is anticipated to be roughly 100 visitors on weekdays and 300 on weekend days.
