Building Inspection Services

Kenosha County is seeking proposals from certified building inspectors and/or building inspection firms to provide building inspection services. The selected contractor will be responsible for conducting field inspections, reviewing building and site plans, and maintaining all required certifications in the disciplines of residential and commercial construction. The contractor will also be required to provide a weekly summary of permits issued, inspections performed, and other official actions, as well as attend monthly coordination meetings with the Director of Planning and Development. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting field inspections, including but not limited to footings, foundations, basement floors, erosion control, and final inspections • Reviewing building and site plans • Maintaining all required certifications in the disciplines of residential and commercial construction • Providing a weekly summary of permits issued, inspections performed, and other official actions • Attending monthly coordination meetings with the Director of Planning and Development
