Description
The Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services (ADRS) is seeking bids for security guard services at the CRS & VRS Dothan Office location. The supplier will be required to provide one unarmed security guard to perform services from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The guard will be responsible for observing the exterior of the facility, ensuring all exterior doors are locked and secure, and providing replacement or substitute guard if needed. The supplier must also provide proof of training program, conduct background checks, and ensure the guard is physically fit to perform duties.
• The supplier must have a minimum of $1,000,000.00 liability coverage and $1,000,000.00 aggregate.
• The supplier must provide workman’s compensation coverage to meet or exceed the requirements of Code of Alabama Title 34-27C-6.
• The supplier must submit three commercial references.
• The minimum hourly wage submitted must be $15.00 or greater.
• A calendar of state holidays will be provided.
• The supplier must ensure replacement coverage during meal breaks.
• The supplier must provide a cell phone with a universal number that ADRS can contact in case of issues or incidents.
