Budget estimate

$6,000 – $13,000

The IFB cites an estimated gross sales figure of about $57,855 per year for the vending operation. The contract pays a “firm fixed commission rate” on gross sales (the exact percentage is not disclosed). Assuming a typical vending‑machine commission ranging from 8 % to 15 % of gross sales, the vendor’s revenue would be roughly $4,600 – $8,700 annually. Adding a modest service/maintenance fee (estimated $1,500 – $4,000) for equipment installation, repairs, and consumable provisioning brings the total potential earnings to approximately $6,000 – $12,700 for the 12‑month contract. Factors influencing the final budget include the actual commission percentage, volume fluctuations, any additional “Vendor’s Choice” product sales, and the cost of providing credit‑card processing hardware.
