Description
San Bernardino County, on behalf of Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, is seeking Proposals from interested and qualified Proposers to provide routine maintenance and unexpected repairs to the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) systems. The Proposer must provide maintenance and repair services to ensure regulatory compliance standards are met. The scope of work includes quarterly inspections of walk-in coolers, fan coil units, CRAC units, chillers, and compressor/motor assemblies. The Proposer must also provide training fund contributions and employ registered apprentices.
• The contract period will be for a maximum of five years beginning on the date an agreement is signed by the Board of Supervisors or its designee.
• The Proposer must include in the Proposal, Attachment E - Cost, all transportation, lodging, and per diem costs sufficient to pay its personnel and travel to the aforementioned locations.
• The Proposer must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations as required by Senate Bill 854 and Senate Bill 96 to work on public works contracts.
• The Proposer must comply with Labor Code section 1777.5 and the California Code of Regulations, title 8, sections 230 – 230.2 for all apprenticeable trades or crafts.
