Description
The Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to perform a one‑time preventive‑maintenance (PM) visit at each DHR county office in the West Central Region. The work must be completed between July 1 2026 and September 30 2026 and includes filter replacement, coil cleaning, refrigerant checks, mechanical and electrical inspections, water‑treatment testing (where applicable), and detailed documentation with photos and signed inspection forms. Only vendors that attended the mandatory site visit from Round 1 are eligible to submit a quote.
• Scope covers all existing HVAC equipment (air‑handling units, condensers, split‑system heat pumps, exhaust fans, boilers, chillers) listed for five Alabama counties.
• Required deliverables: completed Form A/D/F, before/after photographs, water‑treatment reports, and any repair quotes approved in writing before work proceeds.
• Contractors must hold current Alabama HVAC, refrigeration, gas‑fitter, and EPA Section 608 certifications and must schedule appointments through each county office during regular business hours.
