The Office of the Federal Public Defender, Western District of Texas, is seeking a vendor to provide off-site document storage and related services for its Austin, Texas offices. The contract will include the storage of approximately 1,174 standard letter/legal file boxes, with the possibility of additional boxes being added during the contract term. The vendor must provide secure off-site storage, pickup and delivery services, transition services, inventory tracking, and reporting. The contract is expected to be awarded on December 12, 2025, and the transition of boxes is expected to occur between January 20, 2026, and January 30, 2026. Key features of the contract include: • Secure off-site storage for documents in a climate-controlled environment • Pickup and delivery services during normal business hours • Transition services, including new bar coding, labeling, data entry, and inventory of boxes • Inventory tracking system with web-enabled access for FPD users • Reporting and account invoicing • Secure storage facilities with motion, smoke, heat detectors/alarms and fire safety systems • Transportation of storage records with secure vehicles and anti-theft devices • Account representation with a single point of contact and backup contact.
