Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide non-emergent medical transportation services for the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System. The contract will have a base period and four option years. The contractor will be required to provide door-to-door transportation services for patients, including those with wheelchairs, stretchers, and ambulatory needs. The contractor will also be required to provide an on-site transportation coordinator and to utilize the VetRide Vendor Portal or VA-Approved Transportation Software.
* The contractor will be responsible for providing all vehicles, personnel, and equipment necessary to perform the services.
* The contractor will be required to provide transportation services 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
* The contractor will be required to provide a quality control plan and to comply with all relevant safety and health regulations.
* The contractor will be required to provide proof of insurance and to comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
* The contractor will be evaluated based on their technical proposal, price proposal, and past performance.
* The contract will be awarded to the offeror that provides the best value to the government.
