Description
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids for Portable Toilet Rental and Maintenance Services at the Cajon Platform Scales Northbound (NB) and Southbound (SB) locations. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing portable chemical toilets and performing maintenance services. The contract term is expected to be from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2029. The CHP intends to make a single agreement award to the responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest bid.
• The scope of work includes providing portable chemical toilets and performing maintenance services.
• The contractor must possess a valid Local Business License, County Environmental Health Permit, Disposal Site Discharge Permit, and Motor Carrier Permit.
• The contractor must have a past record of sound business integrity and history of being responsive to past contractual obligations.
• The contractor must supply proof of liability insurance that meets the requirements in Exhibit E, entitled “Insurance Requirements”.
