Description
The Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking a contractor to provide annual cleaning and inspection services for solar panels and associated equipment at various DMV locations. The contract term is expected to be from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2029. The contractor will be responsible for performing cleaning and inspection services at six DMV locations, including Grass Valley, Fresno, Reedley, Santa Maria, Delano, and Sacramento. The contractor must have a valid C-46 contractor license and be certified as a Small Business Enterprise. Key services include:
• Annual cleaning and inspection of solar panels and associated equipment
• Performance of services during non-DMV business hours or on weekends
• Provision of trained and qualified technicians
• Compliance with all city and county noise abatement laws, ordinances, and regulations
• Provision of a detailed summary of cleaning and inspection work after each service
• Recommendation of repairs and/or replacements for any issues found with the solar panels and associated equipment.
