Description
The South Dakota Department of Social Services (DSS), Division of Medical Services (DMS) is soliciting qualified vendors to administer the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) surveys for South Dakota’s Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) populations. The selected contractor will be responsible for conducting the Adult Medicaid CAHPS, Child Medicaid CAHPS, and CHIP CAHPS surveys, with the Children with Chronic Conditions (CCC) supplemental item set included as part of the child surveys.
Key aspects of the job include:
* Administering CAHPS surveys in accordance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) protocols
* Familiarity with technical specifications, sampling methods, and data submission requirements established by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ)
* Preference given to vendors certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)
* Compliance with state and federal regulations regarding confidentiality and handling of data
* Adherence to the State's Information Technology Security Policy
