The Caesar Rodney School District is seeking a qualified vendor to prepare, package, and deliver fresh, whole‑grain‑rich pizzas to twelve K‑12 schools on a bi‑weekly schedule. The contractor must supply all ingredients, equipment, labor, and insulated delivery containers, comply with USDA NSLP nutrition standards, maintain a HACCP food‑safety plan, and deliver pizzas hot (≥ 135 °F) at a consistent 9:30 am window (± 5‑10 min). No subcontracting is allowed, and the contract runs for one year with the possibility of up to four extensions.
• Provide 14‑15 in pizzas (cheese, pepperoni, sausage, veggie) meeting whole‑grain and protein requirements per slice.
• Deliver hot pizzas bi‑weekly to 12 schools (Tue‑Thu schedule) using insulated containers and obtain signed delivery tickets.
• Submit three paper copies and one electronic copy of the sealed proposal, including all required forms and insurance certificates.
• Pricing must be fixed for the contract year; invoices are paid monthly within 30 days.
