Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide housekeeping services for the George E. Wahlen Medical Center Campus in Salt Lake City, Utah. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, management support, transportation, equipment, materials, and non-personal services necessary to provide complete hospital housekeeping, general housekeeping, and Regulated Medical Waste (RMW) collection. The contractor will also be required to provide coverage for all buildings on the campus, including main hospital areas, for first and second shifts, Monday through Friday, and weekend services on Saturdays and Sundays. The contractor will need to provide janitorial services, including cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing all areas of the hospital, as well as providing annual hard finish flooring and semi-annual carpet care. The contractor will also be required to provide training for all employees, including orientation, continuing education, and certification programs.
