Description
The project involves the construction of approximately 10,115 sf of new ICU patient care space and the renovation of approximately 5,500 sf of existing ICU space at the Salem VAMC. The work includes site grading, demolition, construction, electrical, mechanical/HVAC, plumbing, low voltage, and fire protection/fire alarm. The contractor will be required to provide a third-party scheduler and maintain existing structural integrity of the building during demolition and new construction. The project has a 720-day period of performance and requires the contractor to follow specific procedures for crane operations, infection control, and other aspects of the work.
