Communication services from MAX Gigapop (MAX)

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Mission Acquisition Solutions (OMAS) is seeking a contractor to provide Internet 2 (i2 or I2) communication services from the State of Maryland dba MAX Gigapop (MAX). The contractor will provide continuous monitoring of all connectivity, access to a service request/ticketing system, and timely status updates to the Government. The contractor must also provide weekly reports identifying any planned maintenance, scheduled service interruptions, or known outages that may affect the Government’s services. Some key points of this opportunity include: • The contractor must provide Internet 2 (i2 or I2) communication services from the State of Maryland dba MAX Gigapop (MAX) • The contractor must provide continuous monitoring of all connectivity 24 hours per day, 7 days per week • The contractor must provide access to a service request/ticketing system that enables Government personnel to submit trouble tickets for repair, service issues, and related support requests • The contractor must provide timely status updates to the Government in the event of a circuit outage, service degradation, or other incident affecting performance or availability • The contractor must provide weekly reports identifying any planned maintenance, scheduled service interruptions, or known outages that may affect the Government’s services
