Scrap Yard Rail Improvements - Steel Dynamics Construction Project

The Lowndes County Board of Supervisors is seeking sealed bids for the construction of the Scrap Yard Rail Improvements - Steel Dynamics project. The project consists of constructing rail improvements, and bids will be received on a unit price basis with additive and/or deductive alternate bid items. The project is funded by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) and is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. • The bid documents are available electronically and via original paper copy. • Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are encouraged to bid on this contract as prime contractors. • The successful bidder must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act. • Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. • The Lowndes County Board of Supervisors is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
