Description
The City of San Antonio, through its Fire Department, is seeking a qualified contractor to design and construct a new pre‑engineered metal warehouse (≈ 9,000 sq ft) to serve the San Antonio Fire Department, Police Department, and Metropolitan Health Department for storage of emergency equipment and general medical supplies. The facility will be fully conditioned (heated/cooled) and located on a 3.8‑acre parcel at the SAFD campus. The scope includes all structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and interior finish work required for a complete, code‑compliant warehouse.
• New 9,000 sq ft pre‑engineered metal building (≈ 3.8 acres) on SAFD campus.
• Full design‑build covering structural steel, concrete foundation, masonry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and interior finishes (steel studs, drywall).
• Conditioned space for general medical supply storage; no hazardous materials allowed.
• Multi‑discipline construction contract (general contractor with subcontractors).
