Courier Service

This contract is for courier services for Pinellas County Utilities Department. The contractor will be responsible for picking up and delivering samples from various locations, including W.E. Dunn, South Cross, and Keller facilities, to the Pinellas County Utilities Water Quality Laboratory. The contract has a term of 5 years and a total amount of $146,435. The contractor must provide a back-up courier in case the primary courier is unable to complete the pickup/delivery. The contract also includes provisions for emergency preparedness, security, and chain of custody. • The contractor must provide on-site supervision to ensure close supervision and inspection of work performed. • The contractor must have communication capabilities with their drivers. • The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance and endorsement in accordance with the insurance requirements listed. • The contractor must comply with all local, state, and federal directives, orders, and laws applicable to this contract. • The contractor must provide a W-9 form and register with the Florida Division of Corporations.
