FOSTER FAMILY AGENCY SERVICES

This contract is for the provision of Foster Family Agency Services between the County of Orange and A Tender Love and Care, Inc. dba A Tender Love and Care Foster Family Agency. The contract term is from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2027, with an option to renew for an additional two years. The contractor will provide services, facilities, equipment, and supplies as described in the contract attachments. The contract includes provisions for non-discrimination, confidentiality, and security of personally identifiable information (PII). Some key points include: • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. • The contractor must maintain accurate and complete financial records. • The contractor must cooperate with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) on the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the State's Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention and Intervention Program. • The contractor must comply with the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act. • The contractor must report any breaches or security incidents involving PII to the County within one working day of discovery.
