The Southeast Kansas Education Service Center (SEKESC) issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purchase of food supplies and miscellaneous non-food supplies. The contract was awarded to Evco for Regions 1 and 2, and F&A for Region 3. The contract includes the provision of food supplies and miscellaneous non-food supplies to the SEKESC and its eligible entities. The contract also includes online ordering, menu building, and nutritional information. The vendors were evaluated based on their capacity, references, reliability, online resources, and value-added services. • The contract includes a minimum order requirement of $500. • The vendors will provide online ordering and nutritional information. • The vendors will also provide menu building and inventory management. • The contract includes a pricing evaluation based on firm pricing. • The vendors will provide customer service and sales force training. • The contract includes a provision for the vendors to work with individual districts as needed.
