Golf Course Operations, Food & Beverage and Large Special Events

Putnam County is seeking a single corporation to manage and operate golf course operations, food & beverage, and large special events at the Putnam County Golf Course. The selected contractor will be responsible for maintaining the course to meet or exceed USGA standards, providing quality food and beverage services, and hosting large special events. The contractor will also be responsible for financial management, including keeping and maintaining all required financial records, and providing audited annual and quarterly compilation financial statements. • The golf course has 18 holes, a practice and putting green, and a driving range. • The clubhouse has a pro shop, bar/dining facilities, catering facilities, and administrative offices. • The contractor will be required to assume ownership of all equipment, furniture, and fixtures at the golf course for a fixed fee of $35,000. • The contractor will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining liquor licenses and abiding by all rules, regulations, and insurance requirements. • The contractor will be required to provide a lump sum capital contribution to the County annually, with a proposed amount to be submitted with the cost proposal.
