Description
The University of Maryland College Park is seeking proposals from responsive and responsible bidders to establish a prequalified, multi-award vendor pool of transportation providers for on-demand charter bus and related group transportation services. The contract term will be for 2 years, with the option to renew for up to 3 additional years. The selected vendors will provide safe, reliable, and compliant transportation for VIP guests, athletic teams, academic groups, and other university-related functions. The evaluation criteria include technical specifications, business requirements, qualifications of personnel, references, clarity of proposal, and economic benefit.
• Mandatory requirements include demonstrated understanding of the University's requirements and the nature of work to be performed.
• Qualifications of personnel, including key personnel, must meet minimum requirements.
• References must be provided and must be able to confirm the Contractor's ability to perform as mandated.
• The proposal must be clear and concise, with a detailed description of how the proposed products and/or services meet or exceed the stated requirements.
• Economic benefit to Maryland's economy will be evaluated.
• The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is determined to be the best value to the University.
