Develop, Deploy, Support and Maintain Existing and Future Citywide Transit Signal Priority (TSP)

The City of New York’s Department of Transportation is seeking a qualified vendor to design, implement, support, and sustain its Transit Signal Priority (TSP) system across existing and future corridors. The effort will leverage the city’s centralized ITS infrastructure, including the Traffic Safety Network and on‑board bus equipment, to improve transit efficiency over roughly 200 miles of roadway and about 3,500 signalized intersections. This competitive sealed‑proposal solicitation covers construction‑related services, software development, system integration, and long‑term maintenance. • Develop and deploy enhancements to the existing centralized TSP platform. • Provide ongoing technical support, system monitoring, and maintenance for current and future TSP corridors. • Integrate hardware and software components with the city’s traffic control and safety networks. • Deliver documentation, training, and performance reporting to the Agency. • Meet NYS DBE participation goals (0% for this project).
